To ensure that the star looks neat and the fine folds can be carried out neatly, it is important that all folds are carried out neatly and, in particular, the edges are retightened again and again with the fingernail.
Put a banknote in front of you.
Now fold the back edge of the banknote onto the edge directly in front of you.
Fold the glow apart again - undo the last fold.
In this step, fold the two right corners toward the centerline just folded. Make sure that the tip is neat, because it forms one arm of the bill star. Fold the left front corner to the center line as well. This folding does not have to be so clean because it only serves as an auxiliary fold.
In this folding step, fold the point from the right side to the left - so far that the point comes to rest at the corner folded to the middle.
Turn the bill over.
Unfold the hidden corner of the auxiliary fold.
Now fold the two right corners back to the middle fold. Be sure to pull the edges with your fingernail so that the fold is clean and tidy. This will make the next fold easier.
Fold the two right corners towards the center line again - just like a paper plane. Also tighten these wrinkles with your fingernail.
Turn the bill over.
This step is not a real origami folding technique. In this step, the left edge is put under the top. This handle is a bit complicated, but with a little patience.
Then press the origami work flat when the edge has disappeared as far as possible under the tip.
Repeat the last step! Insert the left edge again as far as possible under the tip.
And last but not least, repeat the step a third time: push and insert the left edge again under the top.
Now you have done it! The first element of the star is ready. Repeat these 13 steps with four more bills! If you have a total of five banknote star arms, move to step 14 and put the items together to make the final star.
In the first step, you put the first two star elements together. To do this, insert one of the narrow strips of one element into the narrow pocket of the second element.
Now turn the assembled element over. Slightly twist the two elements apart and push the protruding narrow strip into the large pocket of the other element
Press the two elements flat. And do the same with the rest of the star elements! Always insert the thin strips into the narrow pockets first and only then into the large pocket. So the star can simply be put together!
Now, three elements of the money star are already put together.
In this step, the star already consists of four assembled star arms.
In this step, insert the two strips of the last element into the thin pockets of the reversed origami star.
Turn the star over and then insert the two strips into the large pocket of the last star element.
Done is the star of 5 banknotes!
