How to Fold a Simple Butterfly from a Banknote - Instructions with Photos
This folding guide shows how a nice butterfly can be folded in simple steps from a bank note.
On each photo you can see the steps shown individually, so that refilling is very easy even for beginners.

Put a banknote in front of you.

Now fold the left edge of the note to the right edge to have a fold in the middle of the note.

Undo the last fold.

Now you fold the front left corner to the newly created center fold.
Due to the different formats of the euro banknotes, the folding at the back edge is not quite flush. This is incidental and slightly different for each banknote.
In this folding step, it is important that you fold exactly to the middle, so that the butterfly becomes symmetrical.

Similar to the previous step you now fold the right rear corner as well to the middle fold. Make sure that there is a symmetrical object in front of you.

Then fold the left rear corner to the middle fold.

Turn the origami object so it lies with the back to you.

Now you fold the left front corner of the bill back to the middle.

Undo the two previous folds.

Fold the left part at the diagonal fold in the middle to the right.

In the last folding step you fold the lower half in the middle of the back right edge.

Now all the folds are complete and when you unfold the money origami again, the butterfly is ready.

Done is the money butterfly! It is ideal as a gift of money in combination with a flower stick!
