Fold rose from banknotes

Flowers are a popular gift. Flowers cost money. So why not give away money in the form of a flower?

In this tutorial, you will learn how to fold a pretty rose from a total of 5 bills. You need 5 bills, a pencil and a little flower wire that holds the money rose leaves together.

How to fold a rose from banknotes - instructions with photos

Place a bill lengthways in front of you. Then fold it back in the middle.

Now take the pen and roll up the left rear corner around the pen.

Turn the bill over and repeat the previous step with the left back corner.

Now the bill is in front of you as in the photo. Open the bill again.
Place the flower wire in the center fold. Gather the note at the middle fold.

This step is not exactly easy as banknotes are very stable. Collect the bill completely.
Then fold the bill back together and twist the flower wire to keep the bill in shape.
You can put this part of the rose aside.

Take another bill. Lay and fold it again as with the first note.

Pick up the pen again and roll the back corners around the pen in the middle.

Open the bill.
Now fold the front part diagonally backwards, as shown in the photo. The angle does not have to be exactly right, it's enough if it's about right.

Put a piece of flower wire in the fold. As in step 4 / step 5, gather the middle banknote and twist the flower wire.
This is a rose petal finished. Repeat these steps with three more bills.

Now take the Rose Center from step 1-5. Put a petal on it. Take another sheet and adjust it next to the first sheet.

Do the same with the last two money rose leaves. The assembly of the rose is a little tricky. Once the rose is finished and the money leaves are nicely arranged, twist the entire flower wire into a rose stem.

At the end you can push the leaves a little bit back and forth to make the rose perfect. Even the rolled corners can still be rolled up a little if they have moved a little by the shirring and assembly.
Done is the money rose!
